How to create a backup from the web interface
- Log in to your Tinyservers account at tinyservers.eu/my-account.
- From the Dashboard, select your VPS.
- Click “Create” – the backup job starts instantly.
- Watch progress in real time
Tips:
- You can keep one manual snapshot at a time.
- We recommend running a manual backup before major upgrades.
How to restore a backup
- Open the “MY VPS” tab of your VPS.
- Click “Restore” and confirm.
- Your VPS rolls back to the selected snapshot; we’ll notify you when it’s finished.
The restore process doesn’t delete the snapshot – if needed, you can revert again.

How long does a backup/restore take?
It depends on your disk size. A 20 GB snapshot usually finishes in a few minutes with services staying online.
Does the backup impact server performance?
Impact is minimal thanks to storage-level snapshots; your apps remain online.
Can I download the backup locally?
Not yet. The current feature is designed for fast in-place restores. We’re working on an off-site export module.
What happens if I delete my VPS?
The associated snapshots are automatically purged after 7 days for data security.
